Each year group focuses on one or more projects learning about the needs of the community involved and then organising fundraising initiatives. International exchange is an annual Year 10 programme which offers reciprocal placements in our eleven partner schools across the world: China japan france italy (2) vietnam new Zealand Hong Kong scotland england and South Africa. Students experience many benefits from exchange including increased intercultural understanding developing a sense of international citizenship enhanced foreign language study and fostering a commitment to the principles of peace social justice and mutual respect.

Boarding at PLC

Boarders at PLC Sydney thrive in our caring and friendly boarding house. Our small boarding house for only 60 students means that we know our students intimately and are able to cater for individual needs. The house is structured vertically so the girls socialise and mentor each other across all year groups and the majority of our boarders are permanent rather than weekly boarders providing a stable and supportive environment. Boarding at PLC Sydney provides students with the opportunity to form life-long friendships with girls from Australia and overseas.
