Our Lady of the Sacred Heart College (OLSH) is an Independent Catholic secondary school for girls. Administered by the Daughters of Our Lady of the Sacred Heart the College is built on a tradition of more than 70 years of inspiring excellence at the Heart of girls’ education. At OLSH we are committed to our vision of being Heart people who are faith-filled reverence relationships pursue excellence and touch the hearts of others.
OLSH provides inspiring and challenging learning opportunities across a range of curriculum areas. Our contemporary technology rich curriculum places the student at the centre while promoting excellence resilience and the achievement of every individual’s personal best. ‘Visible Learning’ at Year 7 and ‘Issoudun’ at Year 9 are innovative programs encouraging students to be in control of their own progress with the guidance and support of their teachers. While in the senior years students are able to accelerate into VCE or tertiary enhancement.
Our co-curricular activities offer students outstanding opportunities in sport debating and public speaking. The College also offers a variety of musical activities including instrumental ensembles and a concert band. Students have the opportunity to participate in choirs as well as musical and dramatic productions. Camps and a range of sporting and fitness activities are offered to encourage an holistic Healthy yet fun approach to life.
