Kempsey Adventist School (KAS) provides a safe and caring environment where each student is respected as an individual and nurtured academically socially and spiritually. Christian education is more than simply teaching Biblical Studies in the classroom. It is the constant modelling teaching and reinforcing of the Christian lifestyle that effectively shapes our lives. We recognise each student is a unique creation of a loving God with strengths and weaknesses gifts and talents. We seek to identify these characteristics and nurture individual growth in the context of a loving and caring Christian community. We support and encourage the needs of our students regardless of religious or cultural background.
KAS Kids Pre-Kindy
KAS Kids are introduced to the daily routine of life through an innovative Pre-Kindy program. They benefit from a fun-loving stimulating learning environment where caring Christian teachers prepare them to confidently enter Kindergarten the following year. KAS Kids are encouraged to create and explore discover the excitement of books and experience the joys of music sport and friendship.
Our Primary education program assists students to establish connections between what they know and experience and what they will discover in the classroom. An extensive curriculum is offered where students receive thorough grounding in Key Learning Areas (KLAs). Information technology is integrated into all KLAs.
KAS provides students with an energetic and challenging environment where they can learn play work laugh and pray together. Academic excellence is encouraged through supportive teaching methods and a structured academic program. Co-curricular activities include camps and expeditions music and sport.
