Location:

Box Hill Institute was established in 1924 and is located in Victoria, in the Melbourne Metropolitan area, on several campuses around Box Hill. All campuses are within walking distance from one another and the city is only 27 minutes away by train. There is also direct access to buses and trams. Box Hill is very multicultural and a pleasant place in which to live and study. Box Hill is well serviced by shopping centres, health services, religious centres, restaurants, sporting arenas and parks.

Courses Available:

Box Hill Institute is ever expanding and so are the courses offered to International students. Courses now include Bachelor and Associate Degrees in Computer Systems (Networking), Biotechnology and Innovation, Applied Music and Hospitality Management. Associate Degrees are also available in Commerce, Software Development, Bachelor of Hospitality Management and Fashion Technology.

New 2 year Diploma of Hospitality Management in the fields of Commercial Cookery and Patisserie / Baking, Automotive Technology and Hairdressing (Salon Management) are now available.

Other programs offered at Certificate, Diploma and Advanced Diploma levels in the following specialist areas are:

Tuition Fees:

Most of our formal courses cost AUD$9000 per year, except for our Diploma of Hospitality Management (Commercial Cookery or Patisserie / Baking), Diploma of Automotive Technology and Diploma of Hairdressing (Salon Management). These courses are AUD$11000 per year.

Our ELICOS English Language courses offer great value at only AUD$270 per week.

Bachelor degree and Associate degree offer great value at AUD $12500 per year.

Further Studies Opportunities:

Graduates from Box Hill Institute of TAFE may apply for entry into related degree courses at many Australian universities including Deakin University and other Australian universities for many popular courses. Students who have successfully completed a Diploma or Advanced Diploma can receive up to 11/2 years credit towards University or Box Hill Institute Bachelor Degrees.
